    Interesting. But there are many liars that aren’t good artists and many artists that aren’t good liars.

    Is this article an example of molding public opinion? Since most people lie, maybe they’re all potential artists. Or, since art is good, so is lying? Except, not everyone forms their own opinions. Unfortunately, most people form their opinions from what others think and do, few think for themselves.

    One way of attempting to effect group behavior is with public opinion, polls, and the media. (I don’t really have a problem with this, as long as people are still free to believe what they want.) It’s Fabian, slightly sneaky and progressive. In other words, you don’t have to club people over the head to change their minds or mold how they look at the world, you only have to tell them what other people think or do. The categories in which the majority of people think and make their decisions are already given to them. Top down. People think opposing opinions are dangerous for the power elite, but as long as they can be controlled, they aren’t. A couple methods of control: leave out key information or radicalize (anti-intellectualize) the message. The first way nullifies it, the latter discredits it.
