All my life, I have been a student of notable quotes from my betters. I've learned many a valuable lesson, many little nuggets of wisdom from the most offhand quotes. I found a nice little list of quotes assembled from F.A. Hayek that deserves consideration from my friends and fellow readers.

    Andre, not this trader. Reading the “New Yorker” article I was not surprised to see that they haven’t changed their formula. “American prisons don’t work, but over in Europe, they do everything right.”

    This is a very interesting article and I thank you for posting it. I have found during times of prolonged isolation that it can be hard to judge ones own behavior because our self is made dim; things seem to make sense or feel right that shouldn’t. This would make sense since our self seems to sink into a blackhole.
