20/10/10, from Sushil Kedia

October 26, 2010 |

Today is 20/10/2010. What exceptional things happened today? Why did no one say anything about it today. At least I did not hear or read anything ?about it. Why are some symmetrical dates more talked about than others?

Do special number combinations have any significance on the way affairs are conducted? Like on 07/07/07 so many people married the world over. Why did nothing exceptional happen today?

Upon visting the Oklahoma Aquarium this weekend I pondered how people being drawn to radial symmetry (symmetry from a central point) of a star fish…over bilateral symetry could be used int he markets. Do triple tops or triple bottoms for instance hold any significance?

Melaka or as written in English, Malacca, a historically significant state in Malaysia - a thriving spice port and maritime power in the 15th and 16th century South east Asia before being invaded and overpowered by the Portuguese in 1512 - was declared a developed state at exactly 20.10, 20/10/2010.

The lack of exceptional things happening could be due to its not being on a weekend, unlike 10/10/10 which was on a Sunday (or 07/07/07 a Saturday) when again so many people got married.
