I discovered that the best religion for chess players/traders (and others) is actually taoism because the exercise systems they developed help solve the problems that arose with the human nervous system when we started moving around on two legs. Unfortunately much 'feudalism of the mind' is now intertwined with the culture of these arts, but the kernel [of taoism] represents a solution to many of the problems of the human condition.

Anniversary today : 2/10/1996 deep blue defeats Kasparov. I think that event stopped some chess Taoists from struggling forward.

Also the approach towards sin by Catholics is pretty much the same as traders towards risk. If you do not manage it you are dead.

Also, in another view, the Sacraments are symbols that remit to God’s grace; It is to say that Sacraments are derivatives where God’s grace is the underlying. If you are a Spec you might prefer using derivatives instead of physicals for accelerating the inevitable as Catholics use Sacraments for getting a exposure to God’s grace. I really don’t think a certain religion is good or bad for trading. Just like salvation, it cannot be done in one official religion.
