Instead of watching the markets slowly decline, why not we just give Vic everyone’s IRAs and we could speed this process up. ;)

Just kidding, but this is bottom folks (for the next two months).

    You heard it here first.

Question: Does anyone have any thoughts on the book "The Creature from Jekyll Island?" (pgs. 28-38 seem quite accurate). As i changed careers from M_rgan St_nley in 2005, i have fallen behind on staying in tune with Daily Spec.

Recent outperformance by Asia is interesting, especially Japan. Some say it’s just the result of currencies but could be something more.

I also want an explanation as to how an elephant got smuggled into Mexico. It was in my pyjamas noobody else in there and yet here we have it an elephant getting snuck out there/over there. Ok then where’s Bob Barber when you need him??

In the spirit of gallows humor, I've divined a target of zero for the S&P-500 on November 1, 2009. (See rockyhumbert.com for the methodology.)

Of course there's a full moon on March 10th, so that may interfere with this black-box (or should I say black hole) analysis. ;)
