BBQ, from Jim Sogi
August 19, 2008 |
Some fancy BBQ: Squab (breast, sliced), lightly seared, mushroom or Bearnaise sauce on top of some fried Foie Gras, on top of shitake mushrooms chopped, sauteed and seasoned; all on top of a toasted and seasoned French bread slice ala Brochette style, with Raptor Ridge Pinot Noir from Oregon 2006. As we say in Hawaii, "Broke da mouth" (tastes so good).

Jim, As usual, your comments are the most interesting and well timed.
As for myself, I think if I read another comment about the Olympics I'm going to toss my lunch.
Come on Manuel,
We're not done with the morals, platitudes, and life lessons yet.
It's very important, nay crucial, to understand how running around in circles, throwing sticks, mugging other people in swimming pools, going from one place to another faster than other humans but not as fast as with useful labour-saving devices so painstakingly invented such as jets — these are things that need to be ingrained in the trader's psyche.
So I'm sorry, you're not excused yet. My trading went to a whole
new level when, one day pondering the biathlon, I came to the
realization: "Wait a minute, I don't have to be in first place coming
up on the finish line — I've got a gun!" Cheers,
George
G;
Good one….
