The House of the CME

There is a game on the CME
They call the S&P
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God I know I'm one

My mother was a tailor
She sewed my new bluejeans
My father was a gamblin' man
On the CME

Now the only thing a gambler needs
Is a keyboard and a mouse
And the only time that he's satisfied
Is when he's playin' in the house

Oh mother tell your children
Not to do what I have done
Spend your lives in pain and misery
In the House of the CME

Well, I got one foot on the platform
The other foot down the drain
I'm goin' back to the CME
To wear that ball and chain

Well, there is a game on the CME
They call the S&P
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
